LRM Inc. is a faith based non-profit corporation in Buckner, Kentucky. The mission of LRM is to provide individuals and families practical, relevant, and needed counseling in regards to substance abuse, mood disorders (depression), and family communications.
This ministry was founded by Dr. Gary L. French, MA, PhD, AAMFT. He believes that people need to find balance in key areas of their life. These areas are: Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual. His thoughtful approach to your life's problems help each person discover value, meaning for life, purpose as God intended, forgiveness, and balance.
While in the military, Dr. French was a Field Artillery officer and served in various places in the United States as well as in Turkey, Italy, and Germany. He was a distinguished graduate from an army school and was later selected by the US Army to become the Director of the Drug Program Branch for the Southern European Task Force in Vicenza, Italy, serving as a key staff officer for a major command.
Specialized training includes: the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program (ADAPCP) at Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX; Prevention Research Institute; Pastoral Counseling; and clinical work at the VA Hospital. He has taught for or worked with Central Texas College, University of Oklahoma, and Rockbridge Seminary.
Working with LRM Inc. is Dr. Jon Rainbow, PhD, ACSW, LMFT. Dr. Rainbow taught in the Carver School of Social Work at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently the Director of Social Services with The Brook Hospital in Louisville, KY. He has taught Psychology at the University of Kentucky and Spalding University.
Assisting Dr. French and Dr. Rainbow is Dr. Jeff Bradley, Sr. who provides extensive experience with youth and recreation. Dr. Bradley works in various public school systems and is an adjunct professor with Rockbridge Seminary.
This team brings a combined experience of over fifty (50) years in counseling, therapy, assessment, treatment and education.
